Highly bespoke feature staircase at Microsoft Sydney office features 50,000 RGBW LEDs and over 5500 individually controlled pixels.

The programmable installation spans five levels and references Microsoft’s digital code, expressing the mood of the environment, reflecting the weather and is able to interact with the users whilst traversing through the levels. Luminaires were mounted and pre-wired onto 182 individually shaped mounting panels and sent to site as an assembly, making installation and termination an absolute breeze.
